Held on the sidelines of the 79th Session of the UN General Assembly, UNGA Healing Arts Week 2024 is a dynamic program of events celebrating innovative approaches to global health and wellbeing through the arts.

Healing Arts Atlanta launched with a focus on Championing the Role of the Arts in addressing Racism as a Public Health Crisis. The event precedes a major convening of researchers, artists, community leaders and policy makers to discuss how the arts can heal the wounds of racial trauma.

Healing Arts Scotland was the first-ever nationwide Healing Arts campaign, which involved a week of celebrating and advocating for improved physical, mental and social health through the arts.

COP28 Healing Arts Week shined a light on the impact the arts can have on both climate change and human health and wellbeing. A series of panels and events directly engaged senior policy-makers during the COP28 summit.
